What You Will Do
As a Backend Engineer on our Notable Events team within the Behavioral Security Products division, you will:
- Build and maintain high-throughput, low-latency systems that process hundreds of millions of events daily, enhancing our detection capabilities.
- Improve frameworks to boost detection efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide operational support to ensure optimal system uptime and performance.
- Collaborate to create a supportive and innovative work environment, contributing to a memorable interview process for candidates.
About You
You are a driven individual eager to make a significant impact. You possess a solid foundation in backend and distributed systems development, ready to tackle problems that improve the world. Your adaptability shines in a startup environment, where clarity isn't always available, and roles are fluid. Your excellent communication skills make you as comfortable on video calls as you are in writing detailed project proposals.
Must Have
- 3-5 years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Golang.
- Experience with AWS, Django, Spark.
- Knowledge of Postgres, Redis, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Parquet.
Nice To Have
- Additional 2+ years of experience in Golang.
