Join Aircall as a Senior Backend Engineer
Aircall is seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Paris. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, deploying, and operating business-critical features that enhance customer value on top of our voice platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and provide the right technical and business solutions for our customers.
- Design and Architecture: Take key responsibilities in the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of key modules.
- Code Development: Write clean, scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems.
- Code Maintenance: Revise, update, refactor, and debug code to ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Involve in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring.
- On-call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure continuous system reliability.
- Mentorship: Mentor team members and evangelize best practices across the engineering team.
About You
- Experience: You have at least 6+ years of experience in backend development in a large-scale, typed language, with a focus on security, scalability, availability, and performance.
- AWS Expertise: Extensive experience with AWS in a production environment, including designing, deploying, and optimizing services.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in TypeScript and familiar with serverless services using infrastructure as code like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Security Focus: Security is a priority in everything you do.
- GraphQL Knowledge: Experience with GraphQL is a huge plus.
