Wrike is seeking a talented Staff Frontend Engineer to join our Product Architecture team in Prague. This role is pivotal in developing and evolving our technical foundation, client architecture, and development tools. As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make significant decisions that will impact the Wrike product, while also having the chance to learn and grow within a dynamic team.

About the Team

Our internal team is dedicated to enhancing the developer experience and creating tools to support our teams in building and releasing product features. This includes focusing on architecture and performance, security, code and application metrics, as well as developer experience, tooling, and process automations. The team consists of 5 engineers and is managed by Ivan Sinegovsky, our Technical Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and improve weak points in our applications to enhance performance.
Develop and improve core product features such as routing, micro-frontends, and communication protocols.
Enhance the developer experience by building tools and linters to support our development team.
Implement product monitoring through code metrics, error tracking, and other mechanisms to ensure high-quality products for our customers.
Work in a classic Scrum environment within an independent team of 8-10 members.

React + Typescript
Webpack, ESLint, PostCSS, Microfrontends
Angular + Dart for legacy features

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant experience in web development.
Experience optimizing the performance of web applications.
Experience designing microfrontend-based applications.
Proficiency in React, Webpack, and Redux.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

Experience building web application architecture with React.
Experience with WebSocket, Progressive loading, and Real-Time Updates.
A team player attitude with strong communication skills.
Leadership skills and a desire to mentor and support less experienced developers.
