What You'll Do
As a Staff Software Engineer at Subito, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and developing high-performance software solutions. Your role will involve:
Technical Leadership
- Leading a team of engineers to architect scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies and roadmaps.
Development and Coding
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Innovating through research and implementation of new technologies.
Problem Solving and Troubleshooting
- Analyzing and resolving technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Debugging complex problems across multiple layers of the stack.
Mentorship and Collaboration
- Mentoring junior engineers.
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned software engineer with over 10 years of experience in both frontend and backend development. You have a deep understanding of modern web technologies and are proficient in languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and at least one major frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue.js). Additionally, you have meaningful knowledge in backend programming languages like Golang, Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, and are familiar with testing practices, REST APIs, and database management systems (NoSQL, MongoDB, Redis, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
