The Role
As a Software Engineer at TrueLayer, you’ll be at the heart of financial innovation, using technologies like open banking to revolutionize online payments and integrate financial data into apps and websites. You’ll face new challenges as we scale our products and infrastructure to meet customer demands and expand our ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Reach proficiency with our platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, Prometheus/Grafana) and tools (.NET).
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to iterate on product development.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Promote design patterns, testing, and automation to ensure fast and safe delivery cycles.
- Advocate for operational readiness, maintain dashboards and alerting systems, and participate in incident response.
- Contribute to cross-team technology efforts through engineering guilds.
What We Expect From You
- Experience with backend languages/frameworks such as .NET, Java, Rust, or Go.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, API design, and microservice architecture.
- Understanding of testing best practices like TDD, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Interest in observability and alerting in distributed systems.
