Who You Are
You are a passionate, skilled, full-stack engineer with 6+ years of experience building and scaling web applications. We are looking for a quality of experience rather than a quantity. You are a quick learner, adaptable, and have a proven track record of taking ownership of projects from conception to launch. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy wearing multiple hats, and do not hesitate to jump on problems on the business or product side.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features using React and other modern web technologies.
- Be able to work across the stack to build an end-to-end feature.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and ongoing monitoring of web applications.
- Implement best practices for code quality, performance optimization, and security.
- Interact directly with customers to gather feedback and understand their needs, incorporating this knowledge into technical solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions and provide insights and solutions to complex problems.
Skills And Qualifications
Required:
- Proficiency in React and related libraries/frameworks.
- Experience with server-side languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
- Experience with building responsive and accessible web applications.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for building high-quality products and a drive to continuously learn and improve.
- Located and eligible to work in the US. Remote work friendly.
Preferred:
- Experience with UI/UX design principles.
- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Startup experience.
