Job Overview
As a Staff Cloud Engineer at IQVIA, you will be pivotal in interpreting business requirements and ensuring the highest levels of cloud-based application and infrastructure availability. This role involves a significant amount of responsibility, including system administration, monitoring, upgrading, maintenance, installation, setup, configuration, testing, and deployment of cloud-based systems and solutions.
Responsibilities
- System Administration: Oversee the daily operations of cloud-based systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitoring and Upgrades: Regularly check systems for any issues and perform necessary upgrades to maintain system integrity.
- Maintenance and Installation: Handle the routine maintenance and setup of new systems and configurations.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that all systems are secure and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Disaster Recovery: Manage and test disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in cloud computing and system administration.
- Strong understanding of business requirements and how to translate them into technical solutions.
