Job Overview
SAP is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team focused on SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) for Supply Chain. This role involves creating user assistance deliverables, including text and multimedia, to help users deploy, administer, and use SAP IBP effectively. You will work closely with development teams, UX designers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with scrum team members to provide design feedback, user interface text, and documentation in bi-weekly development sprints.
- Document new features and maintain the current documentation set.
- Create compelling, modern, persona-centric user assistance deliverables for our customers, users, and prospects.
- Plan and track your own work assignments and deliver them on schedule with high quality.
- Represent the documentation team in development meetings.
- Explore new tools and process improvements in content creation and productivity enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- A good to excellent university degree in technical communication, IT, business studies, or a related subject.
- Excellent written and spoken skills in English (ideally first-language proficiency).
- Outstanding communication, writing, and grammar skills.
- Experience in technical communication.
- Ability to express complex technical information clearly and precisely.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Flexibility and readiness to communicate with other team members and participate in knowledge transfer.
- Interest and understanding of supply chain management and software development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to business processes in supply chain management.
- Knowledge of authoring in XML environments.
- Basic knowledge of prompt engineering and generative AI tools in content creation and software development.
- Experience in agile software development.
Work Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in technical writing or technical content creation.
