What You'll Do
As an Associate DevOps Engineer at SAP, you will be part of the Monitoring Data Ocean "OctoBus" team, focusing on automating as much as possible, sharing your knowledge, and working collaboratively. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of an open-minded virtual SCRUM team.
- Driving DevOps topics from a pipeline-based deployment perspective.
- Automating software components and infrastructure, including containerization, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Adopting and enhancing CI/CD based workflows.
- Evolving the entire stack and driving innovation within the team.
What You Bring
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Entry-level knowledge in Linux Operating System & Containers (preferably Docker).
- Familiarity with Elastic Stack Components or similar modern Observability solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Advanced English language skills, both oral and written.
- Analytical skills to tackle complex problems.
A big plus would be experience with Python and/or Golang.
