Join SAP as a Cloud Native Developer Associate
SAP is seeking a Cloud Native Developer Associate to join our Business Technology Platform (BTP) team. This role is based in Sofia, Bulgaria, and offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work both on-site and off-site.
About the Role
As a Cloud Native Developer Associate, you will be part of the FP Core Experience Multi-Cloud (CF) & Neo team. This team is responsible for building and operating the foundation that enables internal stakeholders to create superior experiences for SAP customers. Your primary focus will be on developing the multi-platform and extensible btp CLI application, which serves as the central entry point for developers building cloud-native services and business applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the btp CLI application using a reactive technology stack based on Go, Spring WebFlux, Cloud Foundry, and Kubernetes.
- Work with and improve development tools such as IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code, Git, Node, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
- Write reliable, fast, and clean code supported by unit and end-to-end tests to deliver quality software.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to create value for a large customer base of BTP in the Multi-Cloud (CF) Environment.
What You Bring
- A BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, databases, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Go, JavaScript, Java, C#, or C++.
- Experience with cloud-native development paradigms and platforms, such as Kubernetes.
- Willingness to embrace agile development practices, including test-driven development, pair programming, and code reviews.
- Experience in building and operating CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
- Good English language skills.
