Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex applications. You will provide expert guidance and advice on application development best practices, architectural design, and coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop back-end components and services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
• Record data and report it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
• Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experienced SAP S4 ABAP developer, with 10+ years of experience working on large and complex SAP Enterprise Applications.
• Specific focus on Sales and Distribution, specifically in Quote and Order Management, Pricing, and Distribution Function.
• Ability to support and deliver complex requirements including via incident support, collaborating with internal IBM customers (client zero) to deliver innovative and efficient solutions.

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

• Experience and knowledge of IBM's Entitled Software business processes and dedicated SAP function supporting that, including pricing and inventory management.
