Your Role

As an AI Development Intern, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our AI-driven pension-saving solutions. You will work closely with our AI and development teams to research, develop, and implement cutting-edge AI technologies. This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of AI application in the fintech sector.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Research and Development: Develop features for semantic indexing and retrieval to enhance the user experience in our digital advice and sales journeys. Work on language model training and usage, focusing on integrating and optimizing these models within our product suite.
• Language Model Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor the performance of deployed language models, identifying areas for improvement. Evaluate new language model iterations, ensuring they meet our standards for accuracy and efficiency.
• General Machine Learning Application: Explore and implement general machine learning use cases that can enhance our financial products and services. Work on projects involving predictive analytics, customer behavior analysis, and AI-driven financial advice tools.
• Collaboration and Learning: Collaborate with various teams, including product management, AI research, and leadership, to understand and contribute to the broader goals of the company. Participate in learning opportunities to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI and fintech.

Your Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing.
• Demonstrable skills in Python; TypeScript is a plus.
• Passion for technology and innovation, particularly in the fintech and AI domains.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment located in Cologne.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
