Job Description
Uno is seeking a sharp, enthusiastic AI Engineer and researcher who excels in AI model development and algorithms. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner with a high-caliber, high-energy team to help build a thinking machine. You will be instrumental in developing an autonomous platform that leverages cutting-edge AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and Build Systems: Develop systems for an autonomous security product, owning the full lifecycle of modeling, validating, and building a scalable AI & machine learning platform. This includes implementation, testing, release, and maintenance.
- AI & Machine Learning Expertise: Excel in LLLM(s), NLP, Neural Networks, Causal analysis, Bayesian Case Based Modeling, Python, Golang, and various open-source libraries and tools.
- Data Engineering Integration: Work on and integrate with data engineering systems to enhance AI capabilities.
- Innovative Interaction Design: Conceive novel ways for humans to interact with and experience the power of AI beyond traditional conversational agents.
Qualifications
- Motivated Individual: Thrive in a high-velocity startup environment.
- Professional Experience: Have professional AI & Machine Learning experience, particularly in model development for large language models, transformers, sequence models, causal inference, unsupervised clustering, and reinforcement learning.
- System Knowledge: Ability to discuss performance, security, and user interactions in complex systems.
- Cloud Operations: Experience in operating and troubleshooting scalable AI & machine learning systems in the cloud.
- Infrastructure Management: Familiarity with infrastructure management and operations lifecycle concepts.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python and AI/machine learning toolkits and platforms.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Educational Background: At least 1+ years of industry experience and a Master's degree/PhD in engineering, mathematics, or the sciences.
