Job Description
As a Software Engineer in Multimedia Technology at Nintendo, you will be responsible for designing and developing software that supports multimedia use cases in our gaming consoles. This role involves:
- Developing new features for massively used gaming consoles.
- Communicating and collaborating effectively with other engineers.
- Driving software development activities in small team settings.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Create software to support multimedia applications, focusing on audio and video processing, including compression, transport, and rendering.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features.
- Problem Solving: Utilize your debugging and analytical skills to solve complex problems in an embedded design environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in C++ coding.
- Experience with embedded design and environments.
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of multi-core SOC devices and low-level kernel software.
- Experience with media streaming technologies and digital rights management schemes.
