About the Role
As a Data Scientist Intern at Translated, you will be an integral part of our Data Science and AI Production team. Located at our headquarters in Pi Campus, Rome, you will engage in building Machine Learning services and analyzing company data to enhance our processes and KPIs.
What You’ll Do
- Machine Learning Projects such as Classification Models, Text Categorization
- Building and maintaining company-wide KPIs
- ETL pipelines
- Analyze company data to improve process and KPIs
Qualifications Required
- MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics
- Experience with Python programming, Machine Learning, and Data manipulation libraries
- Experience in data wrangling, cleaning, exploration, and feature extraction
- Experience with Relational DBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with NoSQL DBMS (Redis, MongoDB)
- Experience with version control GIT and Github workflow
- Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Excellent knowledge of Italian, English and preferably another language
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to rapidly define ideas and solutions, develop critical analyses, and use creative approaches to solve complex problems
