About the Role
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the machine learning and AI services that power our translation solutions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of product owners, designers, developers, and system administrators to create scalable and efficient machine learning models.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of machine learning services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve and maintain our GPU cluster.
- Enhance our API ecosystem.
- Optimize and deploy machine learning models.
- Collaborate on internal and external models.
- Write high-quality, reusable code.
- Develop functional and sustainable applications with clean code.
- Work with the ModernMT and Research teams to create the best translation engine.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining scalable machine learning and AI services.
- Deep knowledge of Python, Java, and Bash.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in relational DBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL DBMS (Redis, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitHub.
- Proactive and self-driven with a problem-solving mindset.
