About The Role
Join Revolut's dynamic Data Team as a Data Scientist specializing in NLP and Deep Learning. You will be part of a team of 300 data professionals, including Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Machine Learning Engineers, and Computer Vision Engineers, working on a variety of business problems. The Data Team operates with centralized leadership but you will spend most of your time embedded in multidisciplinary product teams. These teams consist of Product Owners, Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and Operations Managers, all collaborating to solve problems that impact millions of Revolut customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Building an In-App Personal Assistant: Develop a personal assistant from scratch, focusing on user-centric features.
- Data-Driven Solutions: Deliver real impact to the product through rigorous data-driven solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, engineers, and fellow data scientists to solve complex data problems.
What You'll Need
- Deep Learning and NLP Expertise: Experience in Deep Learning within the Natural Language Processing area and Large Language Models.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a STEM major such as mathematics, computer science, or engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data science tools like Python and SQL, and a deep understanding of probability and statistics.
- Big-Picture Thinking: Ability to diagnose problems correctly and productionize research.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with Product Owners and business heads.
Nice to Have
- A master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
- Strong experience with additional programming languages, such as Java, Scala, or C++.
- Experience at a large tech company valued over $15 billion.
- Participation in school/university Olympic medal competitions in physics, maths, economics, or programming.
