Distributed Systems Engineer (L4), Content Engineering

As a Distributed Systems Engineer at Netflix, you will be part of the Content Engineering team, responsible for building and maintaining the systems that support our global content creation and distribution. This role involves working on complex distributed systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed systems features and applications.
- Develop microservices and manage API designs.
- Work with cloud storage solutions and optimize data flow.
- Ensure software observability and maintain system health.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Java, C#, or similar OO programming languages.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and data modeling.
- Experience with API design and implementation using gRPC and/or GraphQL.
- Knowledge of cloud storage systems and file systems.
