About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix, you will be instrumental in building a CI/CD Observability Platform that enhances our ability to deploy software reliably and efficiently. This role involves investigating, designing, and building systems that allow engineers to visualize, track, validate, and interact with code changes throughout the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with internal teams to address their development challenges and innovate on solutions that improve the developer experience.
What You Will Do
- Investigate, design, and build a CI/CD Observability platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams on developer experience opportunities.
- Instrument and measure aspects of the software development lifecycle.
What Sets You Apart
- 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- Expertise in developing data-rich frontend user experiences.
- Proficiency in RESTful, GraphQL, or gRPC services.
- Experience with data visualization, reporting, metrics, and instrumentation.
- Design and programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or other OOP languages.
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms like Spinnaker, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with visualization libraries like d3.js.
- Experience with stream processing platforms like Flink or Kafka.
- Background in data engineering and familiarity with data lakes and time series data stores.
Compensation and Benefits
Netflix offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $720,000 annually, with a focus on providing top market compensation based on background, skills, and experience.
