We are actively seeking an enthusiastic early-career Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with machine learning researchers to facilitate the productionization of large-scale and cutting-edge artifacts, including machine learning models and scripts for fine-tuning and testing.
- Work with large datasets to preprocess, clean, and prepare data for training and inference.
- Design, implement, and optimize processing pipelines for scalability and efficiency.
- Architect systems to facilitate research experimentation and artifact evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Math, or a related field.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
- Proficiency in software engineering principles and software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Some experience with the latest MLOps tools and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Familiarity with data preprocessing techniques and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Enthusiasm for learning and staying current with new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), related compute and storage systems, and with deploying machine learning models.
- Experience working with the Linux OS.
- Experience working with Docker containers.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including version control and agile methodologies.
- Previous internship or project experience in machine learning or data science and/or MLOps.
