About the Role
As a Senior AI Developer at Red Acre Ltd, you will be a key player in our automation team, working alongside two other backend developers to create AI-powered automation products and processes. Your main responsibilities will include performing backend development tasks, researching and evaluating new AI tools, and proactively suggesting improvements to our products.
Core Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Engage in backend development tasks using Python, focusing on building robust REST APIs and integrating with various AI technologies.
- Research and Innovation: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in AI tooling and make informed recommendations that drive the company forward.
- Product Improvement: Proactively suggest enhancements to our AI products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality and user experience.
Required Skills
- Python Backend Development: You must have proven experience in Python backend development, specifically in building REST APIs.
- Experience with AI Technologies: Familiarity with LLMs (Large Language Models), generative AI, and other AI technologies is crucial.
- Version Control and Containerization: Proficiency in using Git for version control and Docker for containerization is required.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with vector databases, AWS, FastAPI, code testing, data science, and non-AI automation tools like Zapier and Make would be advantageous.
Education
- A post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field is required.
