Join Veo Technologies as an Embedded Linux Test Automation Engineer
Veo Technologies is a global leader in AI-based sports camera technology, enabling sports teams to record matches and training sessions without a camera operator. We are looking for a creative and skilled Embedded Linux Test Automation Engineer to join our innovative Product Development department in Copenhagen.
About the Role
As an Embedded Linux Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating and testing our entire stack, from embedded Linux to cloud. You will be responsible for developing automated tests for our camera hardware, creating CI/CD setups, and developing assembly line tools for flashing, calibration, and testing. You will also develop dashboards to monitor all aspects of development, build, and assembly line status.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop automated tests for camera hardware.
- Create automated CI/CD setups to streamline development, testing, and deployment for firmware, video processing, and AI teams.
- Develop assembly line tools for flashing, calibration, and testing of camera hardware.
- Create dashboards to monitor development, build, and assembly line status.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong Linux skills, including scripting, d-bus, and systemd.
- Experience with test automation, preferably with embedded systems.
- Proficiency in Python and Rust.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Yocto Project and NixOS.
- Practical "maker skills" with single board computers, shields, and automation.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ansible or Puppet is a plus.
- Generalist with broad knowledge of the entire stack from embedded Linux to cloud.
- Empathic and curious to understand situations to make accurate and nuanced decisions.
