Are you ready to take on a diverse and challenging role as an Application Engineer? At Sofico, we manage over 20 production and more than 300 non-production environments for customers worldwide. Our Miles Technical Team plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, and we're looking for a talented individual to join us.
Key Responsibilities
As an Application Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to manage the build, release management, and deployment of our applications. Automation is a key aspect of this role, involving monitoring, testing, server setup, and middleware configuration.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide technical consultancy to customers, offering advice on architectural matters, hosting, and application needs.
- Oversee full application management, including maintenance, installations, monitoring, and performance investigations.
- Solve unforeseen problems as part of the Miles Technical Team, ensuring responsiveness and agility.

Your Skills and Interests

- Knowledge of at least one scripting language and one application server.
- Proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus.
- Interest in Kubernetes and Azure.
