About the Role
Join Nordea as a Senior Test Automation Engineer and be part of our dynamic Payments Technology team. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality and efficiency of our payment services through advanced test automation techniques. You will be responsible for implementing automated test cases, improving testing frameworks, and eliminating manual testing to streamline processes.
Responsibilities
- Automated Test Case Implementation: Develop and implement automated test cases in collaboration with the team to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Framework Improvements: Continuously improve the existing testing frameworks to enhance functionality and efficiency.
- Elimination of Manual Testing: Focus on reducing manual testing by automating repetitive tasks, thereby increasing productivity and reducing errors.
- Test Data Management: Efficiently manage and utilize test data required for various testing scenarios.
- Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor test results, debug issues, and document findings to maintain high standards of quality.
- Proactive Test Coverage: Proactively work to increase test coverage to ensure comprehensive testing of all features.
Who You Are
You are a professional who embodies our core values of collaboration, ownership, passion, and courage. You have a strong background in test automation and are skilled in Python programming. Your experience with GUI, API, DB, and queue testing, along with proficiency in tools like Robot Framework, GIT, and Jenkins, makes you an ideal candidate for this role.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining test automation solutions.
- Senior-level Python coding skills.
- Experience with Robot Framework.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation using various formats (XML, CSV, JSON).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems like GIT.
- Additional experience in Unix/Linux environments is a plus.
Location
This role is based in Helsinki, Finland, with options to work in other Polish cities such as Gdańsk, Gdynia, Warszawa, and Łódź.
