Ericsson Nikola Tesla Group is seeking passionate and talented student helpers to join our Networks Development Control System team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Middleware development using Erlang/OTP on Embedded Linux, contributing to the advancement of 5G technology worldwide.
About the Role
As a Student Helper in our R&D team, you will be involved in the development of Middleware software on the BEAM (Erlang virtual machine) for hardware-accelerated networking devices used in 5G mobile networks globally. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing highly structured, fault-free code with testing capabilities in mind.
- Documenting your code and participating in code reviews.
- Collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.
- Contributing to the design of high-availability networking equipment used worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Middleware Development: Work on software development for devices running on Embedded Linux, focusing on Middleware using Erlang/OTP.
- Integration and Configuration: Develop features such as autointegration, secure operation & maintenance, and configuration using NETCONF/YANG.
- Collaboration: Engage with international teams to innovate and bring new technology to the market.
