As an international telecommunications service provider, we specialize in revenue assurance and network intelligence services, serving over 550 million mobile subscribers worldwide.
About the Role
As a Backend Developer, you will be part of an innovative tech team where you will have autonomy and ownership of your work. You will collaborate with a small cross-functional team to develop a new service offering that we are launching into the market. This product involves low-level processing of network data using C/Go and data analytics and visualizations using Python and Vue.js (transitioning to Svelte).
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into code with the assistance of senior team members.
- Provide input on architectural decisions and design choices.
- Work independently to deliver code with minimal management, knowing when to ask for help and when to push ahead.
- Focus on data analytics and visualization backend services using Python and Golang.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to implement APIs.
- Participate in daily standup meetings and estimate task durations.
Technical Skill Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a back-end developer, preferably using Python and related technologies.
- Proficiency in MVC frameworks like Django and Django REST Framework.
- Experience with Linux server management, Postgres, Docker, and message streaming solutions like Kafka.
- Familiarity with Git workflow processes, GitLab, and GitHub.
- Understanding of microservices and time series analytics is beneficial.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
