Role Description
As a Backend Engineer specializing in Elixir, you will be part of a dynamic team that values code quality and innovative solutions. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining real-time microservices with high availability.
- Participating in code reviews, product design sessions, and whiteboard discussions to ensure continuous knowledge transfer and address any bottlenecks.
- Designing solutions that meet project requirements and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Directly contributing to the design and development of one of our most exciting products.
- Engaging in continuous deployment and automated testing to enhance code quality and deployment processes.
What We Look For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in software application development.
- Enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- A pragmatic approach to software engineering, balancing complex technical solutions with simple, effective outcomes.
- Experience with functional programming; Elixir is a plus.
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka is advantageous.
