Founding Full-Stack Engineer

Overview

Grove AI is currently seeking a Founding Full-Stack/AI Engineer with previous experience working at start-ups. We are building AI agents to enable clinical trial sites to recruit and engage with patients at scale.

About Grove AI

After building AI software for Stanford Medicine, we saw the need to solve patient engagement bottlenecks within the greater clinical research system. We are backed by top-tier early-stage VC firms and angel healthtech investors. We work with some of the top leaders in clinical research to bring new treatments to patients.

Requirements

You are looking for a high impact, high ownership role building a meaningful product from 0 to 1.
You can work directly with top-level executives at large clinical research organizations to understand their needs, define goals, convey technical concepts, build integrations, collect feedback, and iterate on the best product for our customers.
Full-stack: Proficient with using React and Next JS 14+ App Router, SQL (Postgres) and strong fundamentals in RESTful API design with robust error handling, and experience integrating OpenAI APIs and diverse SaaS product APIs.
DevOps & Infra: Proficient with setting up systems for CI/CD, Terraform, incident management, logs, metrics, and more.
(Preferred) AI: Proficiency in data preparation and model optimization, evaluation, and deployment.
(Preferred) Startup Experience: Experience leading significant projects in startup environments (especially in health-tech).
Work in-person with co-founders in San Francisco.
