Seekeasy is a pre-seed startup focused on building recommendation engines powered by generative AI. With a small, veteran team, we are dedicated to creating trusted, informed, and user-centric recommendations for digital media properties. Our mission is to enhance how users interact with digital content through advanced AI technologies.
The Opportunity
As a Founding Full-Stack Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our CTO and other founding members to develop and refine our web and mobile applications. This role is pivotal in shaping the product's direction and ensuring its success in the market.
Responsibilities
- Product Development: Lead the design and implementation of our consumer applications and APIs. Work alongside UX designers and product managers to translate concepts into functional and aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
- System Architecture: Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Python and Node.js. Ensure the integration of cutting-edge AI technologies to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the build and deployment processes, ensuring high availability and reliability of our services. Implement effective monitoring and alerting systems to maintain performance standards.
- Team Leadership: Play a key role in scaling the engineering team. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Who You Are
- Experienced Developer: You bring a solid background in full-stack development, with expertise in HTML, CSS, Node.js, React, and Python. Your experience with RESTful APIs and user interface design will be crucial in this role.
- Innovative Thinker: You are passionate about AI and its potential to revolutionize user experiences. Your ability to integrate AI technologies into practical applications sets you apart.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in full-stack development, preferably in a startup environment.
- Proficiency in front-end and backend technologies, and a deep understanding of web and mobile application development.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: €100,000 - €130,000 per year.
