Freelance Senior Front End Developer

Job Description

As a Freelance Senior Front End Developer at Syneos Health Communications, you will be a key player in our creative studio, working on cutting-edge digital experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of front-end technologies and the ability to execute on modern web frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation, and Boilerplate. You will be part of a cross-functional engineering team, contributing to the development of mobile-first, responsive, scalable, and interactive digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team to create innovative digital experiences.
• Develop mobile-first, responsive, scalable, flexible, accessible, and interactive digital experiences.
• Maintain and support existing websites, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and other techniques to improve code quality.
• Investigate and resolve support issues, assisting with QA/QC when necessary.
• Ensure automated builds and continuous integration are always working.
• Contribute to the continual improvement of the product and development processes.
• Participate in the software development process following Agile/Scrum methodology.

Essential Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with LESS/SASS and one or more JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with npm, Gulp, and Webpack.
• Working knowledge of PHP and experience with Foundation, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS frameworks.
• Experience consuming/interacting with REST APIs.
• Experience working with WordPress.
• In-depth understanding of modern UI/UX design styles and technologies.
• Strong understanding of the entire web development process, including requirements, design, development, QA, deployment, and maintenance.
