Senior Frontend Web Developer

Job Overview

Adobe is seeking a Senior Frontend Web Developer to join our dynamic team in New York, NY. This role is perfect for a fullstack developer with a keen eye for outstanding user experiences or a frontend developer ready to dive into all parts of the stack as needed. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining groundbreaking applications that incorporate cutting-edge 3D algorithms, AI, and innovative UX to revolutionize content creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop End-to-End Solutions: Utilize ReactJS and similar frontend frameworks, along with Elixir or NodeJS for backend requirements.
• Collaborate with Product and Design Teams: Understand customer pain points and build products that deliver real value.
• On-Call Rotation: Participate in the engineering team’s rotation to mitigate service disruptions.
• Service and Feature Development: Analyze, design, prototype, and implement new services/features and improve existing ones.
• Cross-Functional Teamwork: Ensure a superb end-to-end user experience for customers.
• Proactive Leadership: Provide mentorship for new engineers as the team grows.
• Best Practices in Software Development: Commit to design, testing, version control, documentation, build, deployment, and operation.
• Production Support: Respond to, troubleshoot, and support production systems, performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
• Quality Assurance: Perform pre-deployment QA and implement comprehensive unit tests.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in ReactJS and NodeJS: Experience with Svelte is a plus.
• 5+ Years of Software Development Experience: Preferably in product development.
• Client-Side and Server-Side Technologies: Experience with Redux, Redux Sagas, Docker, and WebAssembly.
• API Integration: Experience defining APIs and integrating them into web applications using RESTful and GraphQL approaches.
• Software Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of design principles, analysis of algorithms, data structure design, and implementation.

Compensation

The U.S. pay range for this position is $173,300 to $312,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
