About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Front-end Developer to join our dynamic Web Development Team at Insider. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating and implementing a wide variety of web-based products using modern technologies such as Go, Node.js, or PHP. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with our teams based in Istanbul.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire project lifecycle, from product development to release and maintenance.
- Research, evaluate, and share existing and upcoming technologies with the team.
- Communicate effectively with Product Managers, Designers, Teammates, and co-working teams to write efficient code.
- Generate new ideas to develop new features or improve existing applications and processes.
- Develop Proof of Concept (POC) applications when necessary to demonstrate ideas.
- Work closely with Back-End Developers to integrate APIs.
- Monitor error channels to maintain product quality at the highest level.
- Write code in a reusable, manageable, and scalable way.
- Ensure the maintenance and performance of new features in the Front-end.
- Maintain code quality and information sharing at the highest level with daily code reviews.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Front-end Developer with modern DevOps tools (NPM, Vite, WebPack, Gulp, Browserify, Babel, etc.) and micro Front-end architectures.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Proficiency in microservices and serverless technologies.
- Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Vue.js.
- Knowledge of Sass or other compiled CSS languages and responsive web design.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
- Good knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience in optimizing page performance.
- Familiarity with application performance and error tracking apps (e.g., Sentry, Atatus, Site 24x7, etc.).
