Front-end Web Developer

Armis is seeking a talented Front-end Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a front-end developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the user interface of our applications, including the Armis Community, Gainsight InSided, and our Support Portal on Salesforce Experience Cloud. This position requires a strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, along with a solid grasp of user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design principles.

Responsibilities

• Build Web Applications: Utilize web development best practices to create robust and scalable web applications.
• Transform Designs into Code: Convert app designs into front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate UI Components: Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.
• Gather and Refine Specifications: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs or UX design.
• Debug and Optimize: Identify and fix errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations.
• SEO Implementation: Implement on-site search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• API Integration: Demonstrate the ability to integrate applications with third-party services through REST APIs.
• Agile Environment: Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your work is required.
• Frameworks and Libraries: Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue, and libraries like jQuery and Bootstrap.
• HTML5 Proficiency: Proficiency with HTML5, including semantic elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA.
• Accessibility: Proficient working knowledge of web-based accessibility practices.
• SEO Principles: Understanding of SEO principles.
• Design Tools: Basic proficiency with Photoshop and web design.
• Testing: Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing.

Additional Skills

• Video Editing and Graphic Design: Skills in video editing and graphic design are a plus.

Compensation

• Salary Range: €145,000 to €190,000 annually.
• Equity: Bonus and Pre-IPO Equity options available.
