Job Overview
Amentum is seeking a Senior UI-Front End Developer to join our team in Fort Meade, Maryland. This role involves designing and implementing user interfaces for web applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with expertise in JavaScript, CSS, and MVC frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze Systems Flow: Evaluate data usage and work processes to identify problem areas and propose solutions.
- Software Modification: Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
- Database Design: Design complex database interfaces and queries to support application functionality.
- UI Design: Design and update user interfaces for web applications, ensuring they are user-friendly and efficient.
- Software Testing and Maintenance: Test and maintain software applications to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis of system issues and recommend improvements.
- Technical Specifications: Develop technical specifications and plans based on user requirements.
- Communication: Clearly communicate with management and technical support colleagues to ensure alignment on project goals.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in programming and front-end development.
- Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, MVC, SQL, and other relevant technologies.
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI poly.
