Senior Frontend Engineer
About The Role
DraftWise is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will have the opportunity to take on significant ownership and impact the technology, product, and culture of our company. Responsibilities
- Take ownership of frontend features and make architectural and product decisions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to build user-friendly web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

About You
- Passion for shipping high-quality products that delight users.
- Interest in the data products space and building tools that empower lawyers.
- Curiosity about the bigger picture of building a company, including go-to-market strategies, customer development, and marketing.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- 3+ years of experience with React and TypeScript.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of modern browser APIs and language features.
- Experience with common frontend frameworks and libraries.
- Familiarity with our tech stack: React, Redux, TypeScript, NextJS, Java.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure, Docker, and Postgres.
- Interest in being involved in engineering design decisions.
