Job Description
Are you looking to join a company that is great to work with and supports a great cause? We are seeking a Remote Front-End Developer to join our team! This is a full-time, direct hire, mid-level role where you will work alongside two full-stack developers, a DevOps engineer, and a UI/UX Designer in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the rewrite of legacy products to a new and enhanced version.
- Work primarily on the front end using JavaScript, CSS, React, and Next.js.
- Utilize UI libraries such as MUI and tools like Storybook Emotion.
- Ensure web applications are accessible, adhering to WCAG and Section 508 standards.
- Collaborate in an agile environment, contributing to sprints and team meetings.
- Work with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to enhance application performance.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3-4+ years of experience as a UI/UX Front End Engineer.
- Advanced knowledge of modern CSS and related technologies.
- Professional experience with React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and Aria Attributes.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Willingness to work PST hours.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Storybook and Emotion.
- Experience in a cloud environment, AWS preferred.
- UI/UX design experience with MUI or similar UI libraries.
- Experience with containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with React Admin, Symfony, Drupal, or WordPress.
- Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel.
- Knowledge of WebGL, Canvas, D3, or similar technologies.
