Senior Full Stack Developer - IT Customer Experience

Job Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Developer in the IT Customer Experience team at SAP, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our customer portal, SAP for Me. This position is based in Timisoara, Romania, and offers a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Development Projects: Guide the design, development, testing, and deployment of robust and scalable solutions for our customer portal.
Architect Solutions: Design scalable and maintainable solutions, focusing on both front-end and back-end components to enhance performance and user experience.
Server-Side Logic: Develop server-side logic and services using technologies such as Java or Kotlin.
Front-End Development: Contribute to the development of intuitive and responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or Vue.js.
API Integration: Implement and manage integrations with third-party services and APIs.
Code Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and propose their integration into our development processes.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Over 8 years of experience in full-stack development, with a proven track record in leading end-to-end projects.
Technical Skills: Mastery of server-side technologies (Java, Kotlin, Node.js), front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
DevOps: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Version Control: Proficient in using platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile principles and practices.
Leadership: Prior experience in leading and mentoring development teams is a plus.
