Job Overview
As a Lead Backend Developer within the Platform Services Group at SAP Signavio, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the administration and governance experience for users of the SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite. You will work in the Identity Management & Tenant Lifecycle domain, focusing on driving new feature introductions and helping top-level customers maximize the value of our suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development: Drive product development from ideation to data-driven improvements.
- Service Management: Bootstrap, develop, maintain, and operate both new microservices and existing applications, using either traditional server-based or serverless principles.
- Collaboration: Partner with other teams and individuals across the organization to tackle complex technical and business challenges.
- Security: Uphold stringent security guidelines to safeguard operations and data.
- Mentorship: Mentor and support other developers, sharing your extensive experience and expertise.
- Innovation: Challenge ideas and be open to having your ideas challenged to create innovative solutions.
What You'll Bring
- Experience: 7+ years of software development experience, following agile methodologies.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Java and TypeScript, with exposure to functional programming.
- Cloud Technologies: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and associated cloud technologies.
- Database Management: Hands-on experience with SQL databases, ideally MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Architecture: Experience with microservice architectures, message-based systems, and/or serverless architectures.
- Continuous Learning: A continuous-learning attitude and passion for personal and peer growth.
- Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in identity and access management (IAM) is a plus.
