Join Our Team as a Senior Back-End / Full Stack Developer

SAP is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Back-End / Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a key player in our Innovation, Technology, and Data (ITD) unit, you will be instrumental in driving transformation and powering the digital enterprise. Our mission is to deliver cutting-edge solutions that bring business value and enable transformation across SAP.

About the Role

In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional scrum team, working alongside a product owner, scrum master, and other developers. You will also collaborate with experts worldwide, including product managers, UX designers, and other scrum teams. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing services on our internal developer platform, "Hyperspace," which serves as the new entry point for 50,000 product developers at SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement services on our internal developer platform.
• Engage in all phases of the development lifecycle, from idea generation to operations and support, with a focus on back-end development.
• Support the product owner in defining concepts, conducting technical evaluations, and providing effort estimations.
• Collaborate with a supportive and talented team, fostering a fun and innovative work environment.
• Participate in our unit-wide research initiative, dedicating up to 10% of your time to research and innovation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
• Proven programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or Go.
• Experience with backend technologies like Kubernetes/Docker.
• Strong team player with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Quality mindset with the ability to adhere to quality standards.
• Experience in Scrum or SAFe is beneficial.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
