Overview
Sunbound is seeking a full-stack software engineer to join its team and aid with the development of its core product. This is one of the early engineering positions at Sunbound, and will carry a lot of opportunities to work closely with the CTO and shape company direction and culture.
Responsibilities
As a full-stack software engineer, you will:
- Help make foundational architectural and engineering design decisions.
- Be responsible for product architecture and implementation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on product ideation and direction.
- Provide input into how offline processes can best be implemented in product.
Skills and Qualifications
- BA or BS (or Master’s) in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in software development.
- Experience at fintech companies is a major plus.
- Experience building software solutions incorporating disparate aspects of complex business processes.
- Proficiency in full-stack web development.
- Proficiency with React.
- Proficiency with Node.js or other back-end frameworks like Rails or Flask.
- Clear communication verbally and in writing with non-technical stakeholders.
