Position Overview
SumUp is seeking two talented Fullstack Developers to join our Lending product teams in Barcelona. This role is pivotal in empowering merchants worldwide by providing innovative financial solutions. You will be part of the Credit Risk Engineering Squad (CRE) and the Origination & Servicing Squad (O&S), where you will implement new functionalities and maintain robust Golang and React services.
What You’ll Do
- Implement High-Quality Code: Write, test, and validate high-quality code to ensure reliability and performance.
- Problem-Solve Efficiently: Quickly identify and resolve blockers, and proactively seek assistance when needed.
- Documentation Mastery: Produce and consume technical documentation for seamless collaboration with external teams.
- Customer-Centric Development: Engage with product managers and stakeholders to understand customer needs and business opportunities.
- Innovative Design Contribution: Contribute to solution design, adhering to engineering best practices and innovative approaches.
You’ll Be Great for This Position If You
- Have experience with Golang and/or React programming languages.
- Have worked in a fintech or startup environment, and are familiar with agile methodologies.
- Are experienced with a modern technology stack.
- Possess strong English communication skills for technical refinements with an international team.
- Have enthusiasm for asynchronous processing, machine learning, data engineering, or data science.
