About the Role
SOPHiA GENETICS is seeking a talented Full Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Bidart, France. As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality, reliable software solutions that meet the needs of our organization. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Own the end-to-end delivery of software components, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support.
- Front-End and Back-End Development: Develop features for both front-end and back-end, and suggest new designs for the services owned by the team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to understand their issues and propose solutions. Collaborate on the deployment setup and infrastructure for the services owned by the team using tools like Terraform, Azure Cloud, and AKS.
- Code Review and Best Practices: Actively participate in code reviews and share engineering best practices with peers. Support more junior team members.
- Communication: Communicate clearly and concisely with team members and stakeholders, including PMO, Product, and QA teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a professional Software Engineer.
- Proficiency in Java for backend development and React for frontend development.
- Familiarity with any scripting language is a plus.
- Experience with Azure Cloud, AKS, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD is advantageous.
- Fluent in English at a business level.
- Understanding of Agile principles and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery is a plus.
