About the Program

When you begin your career with Airbus, we accelerate your growth through our Airbus Global Graduate development journey, focusing on both soft skills, business knowledge, and technical ability. You will be part of a two-year program that enables you to develop your professional skills, build your networks, and gain a unique perspective on the world of Airbus while delivering in a specific position. Each development journey is individual!

In addition to on-the-job activity and a comprehensive schedule of training opportunities, once a year you will also join your global graduate community for a development week where you meet your peers, hear from our leaders, and learn from the best.

Your Role

You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Full Stack Developer and can expect to be involved in the following:

• Participate in the design and creation of scalable software.
• Write clean, functional code on the front- and back-end.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables and validate their behavior in a secure environment.
• Test and fix bugs or other coding issues.
• Participate in the study, design, and prototyping phases of developments.

Additional job activities may include:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture.
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Write effective APIs.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
• Write technical or end-user documentation.
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software.
• Undertake interactions with customers to take into account and guide their needs.

What We Are Looking For

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you should demonstrate:

• A degree level or equivalent within IT Development.
• Recent graduation or first professional experience in IT Development.
• Knowledge of front-end languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., Angular, React, VueJS, Svelte) and back-end languages (e.g., Java, Python).
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx).
• Experience in UI/UX Design, testing (e.g., test-first, TDD), Docker, and CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Strong verbal and written communication in French and English.
• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
