Full Stack Software Engineer
Overview
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Invicti, you will be responsible for building powerful customer-facing front-end systems with an improved user experience. You will join a talented Agile development team, working across the full technology stack with a focus on frontend systems. You will work in sprints and pair with colleagues who are passionate about code quality within a collaborative and technology-driven environment.
Location
This position is based in Birkirkara, Malta. Candidates must be located in Malta.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end systems using modern frameworks like VueJS, ReactJS, and CSS (Tailwind).
- Implement server-side logic using C# primarily in .NET Core / .NET 5+.
- Connect to Microservices, RESTful APIs, and other database-driven web applications.
- Apply modern web security methodologies and work with both relational (Microsoft SQL) and non-relational databases (NoSQL such as MongoDB).
- Utilize Git for version control and be familiar with deployment automation, build environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct diverse testing, including Unit and Integration testing, and apply debugging methods.
- Solve problems in code quickly and simply.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in ECMAScript and TypeScript on both server and client sides.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks like VueJS (preferable) and ReactJS.
- Strong C# server-side skills, particularly in .NET Core / .NET 5+.
- Familiarity with Microservices, RESTful APIs, and database-driven web applications.
- Knowledge of modern web security methodologies.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Messaging Queues such as Nats, RabbitMQ, or MassTransit.
- Familiarity with container technologies including Docker.
- Experience with Linux command line, writing SQL/NoSQL queries, GQL/RESTful web API design and development, and data modeling.
