About The Role
As a Software Engineer at Forma, you will be responsible for building and shipping the best possible products accurately and on-time. You will solve complex business problems and workflows with highly secure, scalable, and easy-to-use backend APIs and infrastructure. Our services run on GCP and Kubernetes, and we integrate with platforms like Stripe and Plaid to facilitate seamless financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Release new product features and maintain existing services.
- Develop a deep understanding of product values and contribute collectively to create the best product experience.
- Build secure, performant, and easy-to-use backend APIs and database designs with clear documentation.
- Help improve engineering processes and standards to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Preferred Skills
- 2+ years of experience working with Node.js and TypeScript, particularly in building APIs.
- Familiarity with NoSQL and/or relational databases.
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript or similar languages.
- Experience with agile methodologies and leading projects from end-to-end.
- Experience at an early-stage startup is a plus.
- Fintech experience is a plus.
