Job Description
Blend is seeking a skilled Fullstack Developer for a short-term backfill role to support our client’s ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React, Python, AWS, and experience working with Generative AI technologies. This is a 100% remote role, but candidates in the Pacific Time Zone (PST) are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain fullstack applications using React (front-end) and Python (back-end) with AWS infrastructure.
- Leverage Generative AI models to build and optimize features within the application.
- Integrate and manage vector store databases for efficient retrieval and storage of high-dimensional embeddings.
- Implement and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for enhanced AI model performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with business needs.
- Ensure code quality, conduct code reviews, and maintain best practices in software development.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of fullstack development experience with a focus on React and Python.
- Strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Expertise in working with Generative AI models and integrating AI solutions into applications.
- Experience with vector store databases like Pinecone, FAISS, or similar for semantic search and data retrieval.
- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and how to implement them.
- Proven ability to work in a remote environment and meet deadlines independently.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with machine learning pipelines and model deployment on cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues in a distributed environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams.
