Job Description
We've got a ton of cool ideas to make life better for musicians; we need to grow our dev team to make them a reality.
As a Fullstack Engineer at CreateBase, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our core systems that empower musicians. You should be very comfortable with at least one high level language (Python preferred, but not required) and cloud technologies (AWS is what we currently use).
We're early stage, so you'll be laying the foundation for our future. That should excite you at least a little more than it scares you. We look forward to meeting you.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and reliable backend services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test, and production environments.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and software engineering.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on backend development
- Experience with public cloud development (AWS or similar) including containerization, orchestration, monitoring, and CI/CD
- Proficiency with high level languages (Python or similar) and modern server technologies, such as FastAPI
- Proficiency with modern frontend technologies, e.g. Next.js, Typescript, React, TailwindCSS
- Knowledge of best practices in coding, security, and scalability
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
