About the Role
Cape is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our innovative team. As our first Fullstack Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and supporting web-based capabilities for a diverse range of customers, including government, enterprise, and consumer sectors. This role involves full lifecycle capability development, from design and prototyping to deployment and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Lifecycle Development: You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of application development, from initial design to final deployment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with backend, mobile, and product teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end user experience.
- Innovation: Design and build new capabilities to support business development and customer acquisition.
- Balance: Manage short-term critical business needs while aligning with the long-term product vision and roadmap.
Requirements
- Experience: 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in TypeScript and React is essential.
- Passion: A strong interest in personal privacy and national security.
- Impact: Desire to work on software that has a real-world impact.
Bonus Skills
- Geospatial Data: Understanding of geospatial data and mapping applications.
- gRPC: Experience with gRPC.
- Cryptography: Familiarity with cryptography.
- CI/CD: Experience with GitHub Actions.
