About The Role
We are seeking a mid to senior level full-stack engineer to join our team at Replo, focusing on shipping innovative products. This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and offers a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and Implement Full-Stack Features: You will be working primarily with TypeScript, React, and Node.js to develop full-stack product features. Examples of projects include:
- Building AI tools for generating new Replo content.
- Developing analytics and experimentation products end-to-end.
- Creating well-abstracted third-party integrations with platforms like Shopify.
- Building payments and billing infrastructure to manage various customer use-cases.
- Owning the multiplayer editor end-to-end, focusing on CRDT and React performance.
- Managing the user onboarding flow from start to finish.
What We Are Looking For
- Hybrid Work Capability: Must be able to work both on-site and off-site in San Francisco.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js: Strong skills in these technologies are essential.
- Experience with GPT/Claude/Cursor: Ability to leverage these tools to accelerate work.
- Product Development Experience: Proven track record of building products from 0 to 1 with real users and revenue.
- Customer-Focused Mindset: Ability to maintain a product and customer-focused approach.
- Deployment and Maintenance Experience: Experience in handling deployment and maintenance issues.
- Clean Code and Documentation: Commitment to writing clean, maintainable software and documentation.
- Comfort with Ambiguity: Ability to define software architecture patterns to solve customer pain points.
Bonus Points
- Computer Science Degree: A formal degree in computer science or a related STEM field.
- Startup Experience: Experience working at an early-stage startup (Series A or earlier).
- Hackathon Participation: Enjoyment of hackathons and rapid prototyping.
- Visual Design Skills: An eye for design or experience with tools like Figma.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is competitive and depends on various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package.
