About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team at Yembo. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing features that push the limits of what our product can achieve. You will design, implement, and roll out features that are crucial to the success of hundreds of companies worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Create, test, deploy, maintain, and optimize applications.
- Code Quality: Implement high-quality, well-documented, robust, and maintainable code.
- Collaboration: Work both independently and in a highly collaborative environment.
- Analysis: Analyze requirements and use cases, breaking them down into specific technical tasks.
- Development: Develop new functionality, application components, APIs, and infrastructure.
- User Interfaces: Develop responsive and dynamic web user interfaces.
- Recommendations: Make recommendations regarding the development of new code, reuse or refactoring of existing code, and use of third-party frameworks.
Requirements
- Education: BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Direct or related experience in a majority of our tech stack, including ReactJS, TypeScript, Redux, NodeJS, PHP, and AWS services like EKS, EC2, S3, Cloudfront, and Route 53.
- Work Hours: Willing to work US business hours.
- Travel: Occasional but infrequent travel.
- Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the US.
Bonus Skills
- Experience developing new product features from scratch.
- Previous JIRA experience managing tickets and pulling reports.
